The Christmas season is certainly one of emotional extremes. The hectic traffic and crowded shopping malls test everyone’s patience, sometimes to the boiling point. On the other hand, few things can rival the excitement in a child’s face when they see a new bicycle. Perhaps the greatest pleasures of the season are reflected in a mother’s tears of joy upon seeing a long departed son or daughter come through the front door, home at last on Christmas morning. These are the moments we cherish for the rest of the year and will recall fondly for many years to come.
