Thank you for choosing the MASTER CENTER® for Minimally Invasive Surgery in Southlake, Texas for your care. We welcome you, and are honored to serve you. Dr. Sewell and his entire staff promise to make every effort to meet or exceed your expectations before, during and after your visit. This starts by establishing an open line of communication, so if your haven't already done so, please contact our office at 817-748-0200 or online at Contact Us and provide us your contact information. We'll then ask you to take a few minutes to fill out one of our patient information forms that will help us determine in advance if we can help you. Planning Your Visit

It is our aim to make your experience as pleasant and convenient as possible, but our primary goal is to ensure your safety. We will make every effort to combine your initial visit, pre-operative testing and any procedure to fit your schedule, and avoid the need for multiple trips whenever possible. Depending on the nature of your condition, and what testing you may have already had done, this could require you to arrive several days prior to any planned procedure. Likewise, it is generally a good idea to remain in the immediate area for a couple of days after any surgery to make sure it is safe for you to travel back home. 

Getting Here

Whether you travel by plane or automobile, Southlake is an easy destination to get to.

For those who choose to travel by automobile, Google Maps will help you get to our office from anywhere in the Metroplex.  We are just a short distance from Southlake Town Center. Our address is:

If you are traveling by air, DFW International Airport is just minutes from Southlake. It is a major hub for American Airlines and American Eagle, as well as most other domestic and international carriers. For those travelers who prefer Southwest Airlines, Dallas Love Field Airport is only 30 minutes away.  Rental car services and taxis are readily available at both airports.

Staying Here

Patients of the MASTER CENTER® for Minimally Invasive Surgery in need of local hotel accommodations are offered special rates at several area hotels, including the Hilton in Southlake Town Square and Baymont Inn & Suites in Grapevine. If you choose to reserve a room at the Hilton, please contact Suzanne in our office at 817-748-0200 to receive the code needed for our special rates.

Dallas-Fort Worth offers something for everyone.  If you're a sports fan you know Dallas offers the Cowboys (NFL), the Mavericks (NBA), the Stars (NHL), the Rangers (MLB), FC Dallas (MLS), and The Texas Motor Speedway (NASCAR).  Music fans are treated to world-class concert venues with schedules ranging from the symphony to country headliners to rock and roll classics.  Shopping, restaurants, museums, and true cultural experiences (like the Annual Stockshow & Rodeo in the historic Stockyards) give each visitor a unique, personalized experience.  The Southlake Town Center is just across the street from our facility and offers some of the best shopping in the entire DFW metroplex. So, if you or your family members are looking for something to do, you're bound to find it in DallasFt. Worth, or Southlake.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free seminars?

From time to time we have offered seminars on a variety of subjects from weight loss surgery to managing gastric reflux. However, Dr. Sewell feels that these group sessions tend to be rather impersonal and don't allow for private individual discussions. He prefers to offer prospective patients a free initial one-on-one consultation to make sure they get information that is specific to their needs.

How do I schedule a free consultation?

The quickest and easiest way to schedule an appointment is to call our office (817) 748-0200 during regular business hours. If you prefer you can fill out our Contact Us form and sumbit it online. We will contact you with available times and further instructions.

Do I need a referral to see Dr. Sewell?

Some insurance carriers still require referrals to see a specialist. However, since we do not charge for the initial consultation, a referral is not required for your evaluation. If further treatment is recommended we will make every effort to work with your primary care physician and your insurance company to obtain specific referrals as needed.

Does Dr. Sewell take my Insurance?

This practice has chosen a philosophy of working for our patients. For that reason we have chosen not to contract directly with any insurance companies. We are happy to work with you and your insurance carrier to ensure you get the maximum benefit available from your policy, and we will gladly discuss our fees with you, in advance, to avoid any surprises.

Who can I talk to about my insurance questions?

Our staff is very familiar with virtually all insurance carriers, but individual policies can vary significantly. They will be happy to assist you in determining the benefits available through your insurance policy. Just provide us with a copy of your insurance card and we will contact them on your behalf.
