Transnasal Esophagoscopy

We are excited to be the first General Surgical practice in the region to offer the latest in endoscopic assessment of the esophagus using Transnasal Esophagoscopy (TNE). This office procedure requires no sedation, so no more hassels with checking in and out of the hospital or outpatient facility. No more having to take the whole day off and get someone to drive you home after an anesthesia. None of the risks associated with IV sedation. Transnasal esophagoscopy has been shown to be an excellent screening test for a variety of problems such as Barrett's esophagushiatal herniaGERDLPR and achalasia. If you've been putting off having a screening endoscopy because of the hassels or the cost, TNE may provide just the answer. LEARN MORE ABOUT TNE
